This morning Neelix and I went for a walk along the trail and I thought this park bench would make a lovely picture. I think that everytime I walked past it over the past few months. I do so be among the trees when the snow clings to the branches.

Too cold to sit on and anyway that would have spoiled the shot. Boy I'm Glad it is Summer in Australia.

Today was almost t-shirt weather at -2 with no wind compared to the -17 with winds at about 30KPH on Tuesday.
Excellent interpretation of the theme! I really like how the bench in set between the branches. It visually demonstrates that the bench is set aside. The snow also reminds me of isolation. On the snowiest days, sound seems to be greatly muffled. Great shot! My snow pictures look decidedly blue.
that is the very essence of solitude: cold, lonely, isolated.
Definitely a place to sit and contemplate, in the warmer weather.
