I've been to St. John, but in the summer. Having that bundled figure in the forefront gives the photo a perspective, a point of view. it makes one feel part of the scene, looking out at the snow before venturing into it.
Nice composition, agree with Bobbie, feels like I'm standing next to him...also like the way the snow has muted the colors on that red building across the street.
All I can say is BRRRRRRR...better you than me lol We have only had a dusting this year (which is really unusual for Omaha, NE)...I am sure when we get hit we will get hit good!

It's good being able to experience snowscenes through someone else's lens.
